Baking Measurement Conversions

I spend quite a bit of time on the internet to source for receipes.  A major issue I face is the various type of measurements indicated in different receipes.  There are cups, grams, sticks, ounce, etc...oh my!!  As we normally use grams, I always feel frustrated when I see other weighing measurements as I do not know exactly how much that would be in grams.  Many years ago when I saw "1 stick of butter" in the receipe, I would freak out as I could not locate the conversion in the internet at all.  I would be wondering the weight of 1 stick of butter as over in Singapore, they sell in "block", and it usually weighs 250g.  A few years later, I saw the measurement of butter in tablespoon!  Then I wonder, "do I need to melt the butter so that I could use a measuring spoon to measure?" Haha...

Professional bakers recommend the use of weight as it is a more accurate measurement, thus producing better results.
 
The oven temperature is another issue I encounter.  Most receipes tell you 375°F / 190°C.  However, most of us would not know there is a difference in temperature when you use an oven with or without fan force.  Thus, some of you may wonder why your bakes does not yield the desired results.  Do note that the oven temperature may not be accurate due to its age.  So it is still better to use an oven thermometer to check the temperature.
 
Although you are able to find quite a few websites on baking measurement conversions, however, they either have measurements that varies slightly, or it does not have the full information I need.  Thus, I have organized and prepared the measurement conversions to what I require.  I hope this is informative for you. :)
